My commute

I have always tried to keep any commute to work very short or at the least, a nice walk. In the past I have ridden a motorbike through the streets of Saigon (always stopping for my morning 'breakfast' of pho soup). I have taken the not so exciting bus to work in Singapore and have walked up one flight of stairs when I worked from home. And I have almost always walked to work in New York City. I love the walk, right straight through gorgeous Central Park. I feel like it calms my mind before work and gets the blood pumping at the same time. Here are some shots of my commute this morning.

How wonderful to have such inspiring surroundings to walk through each day!

Gorgeous! I used to walk to work in Dublin and it was the happiest time of my worklife, even though my job was dreadfully boring, those morning strolls coloured the days for me.

Now I ride the subway and a bus and I feel my heart sink every morning as I descend into the subway... Location will be a huge factor for my next career move!
