However you call them, they evoke summer like no other word. I was introduced to the brand Eres, many years ago when I was in Paris. A french friend of mine, told me the "ONLY" bathing suit to buy was one from Eres. She said they are tres expensive but "you will have it forever". So I bought one and I still have it and wear it too! Here are some gorgeous ones from the 09 collection. For more check ERES
Hello lovelies, I'm feeling very uninspired about breakfast (which incidentally) is one of my favorite meals of the day. But I need some new ideas, what do you, dear reader, have for breakfast? Coffee only? Granola, toast...send me some inspiration please.
Friday again -woohoo. Here are some lovely images to start your Memorial Day weekend. It is going to be very warm this weekend, so why not kick it off with an Acapulco Cliff Hanger:
1 cup watermelon chunks, pureed in the blender and strained (makes about 1/3 cup), 2 ounces Tequlia, 1 ounce lemon simple syrup, 1 ounce lime juice
1 ounce Cointreau-This inventive drink will take the edge off a scorching afternoon. Fill a chilled glass with ice. Pour everything except the soda, into the glass and stir to chill. Add soda and stir again. Squeeze the lime on top and drop into the glass. Garnish with a lime and a wedge and serve! Bottoms up!
It has been one whole year since I started Sugar Pie. What a journey it has been; a completely new world has opened up to me. So many inspiring bloggers and lots of lovely, super creative people. Thank you for commenting, following and inspiring me. Cake for all!
Some fashion trends I'm really liking... The sequined look, the other day, a co worker came in with this fab sequined dress, with a little Tee over it. So glam but understated. I'm also loving running shoes with dresses...and head scarves...
Some gorgeous loungewear for you today. Pretty robes, pants, duvets etc... - from this lovely shop called, Pretty Plum Sugar. I can totally see myself wrapped up in one of the many robes or cover ups. And the table cloths are so sweet too...Come on, have a look. And Happy Thursday. xoxo
Lovely textiles as duvet covers
Very comfy looking PJ bottoms
A sweet looking table cloth, just ripe for summer.
This is almost too pretty to wear around the house!
Off to Toronto tonight to spend the weekend with my parents, and to spend Mother's day with my lovely Mum. Looking forward to a relaxing weekend, going on some jogs in the ravine, doing a little shopping, checking out the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) and having brunch for Mum at Frank. Happy weekend and to all the mother's out there - have a great Sunday. xox

Friday again, and time seems to be flying by at warp speed. It's gray here in New York and is meant to be a rainy spring weekend, at least it will be good for the garden! Here are some images I spotted this week from around the web that made me smile...PS I also want to take this time to thank everyone who has commented or followed by little blog. I can't tell you how gratifying it is to know that people feel compelled enough to post a comment or even follow my blog! Creating Sugar Pie has opened my eyes to this whole new global community. Thank you, Michelle xo
