They say everyone should have at least one dish they've perfected. That dish has eluded me but I can keep trying...so how about some Roasted Winter Squash and Parsnips with Maple Syrup Glaze and Marcona Almonds from
Epicurious
Or Ricotta Hotcakes anyone? From
NIGELLA

Oooh---those hotcakes are making my mouth water! Nigella comes up with the best stuff! I'll have to give those a try for sure.
Both look good to me- but for now I sure wish I had those hotcakes with strawberries!!
Yum to both! I love parsnips and root veggies.

but it still doesn't come close to my grandmas !
I'm coming over for hotcakes! I love Nigella!
I know - Nigella is pretty cool. I love her cookbooks, especially Domestic Goddess.
I am a huge proponent of maple syrup with vegetables. Sugary infused goodness. I don't think I have a signature recipe yet, but I'm hoping it will involve cupcakes. :)
looks yummie. i'll make these for you when you come out! can't wait.
