I love beige, I do

Our apartment is beige, beige couch, teak furniture, light brown art work (with some color) but our place is beige and I love it. These images were found on Desire to Inspire (which always inspires me:)

The Moth

Has anyone out there ever been to a Moth event? It is this really great series of storytelling events from people of all walks of life. It started a few decades ago on New York's lower east side. Conor went to one of the first ones way back when. It has grown into a full fledged non profit with Moth Slams (story telling contests) on both the east and west coasts. And every November they have a big charity event called The Moth Ball at the Capitale in New York. The moth events are a lot of fun and cost a mere $7 bucks for a night's worth of great storytelling!

We saw these onsies at the last event we went to on Monday at the wonderful Housing Works Bookstore & cafe. 

My Mum

This beautiful setting, the flower, the stripe drapes, the room, reminds me of my Mum. She is leaving soon to help my uncle finish designing his beach house. I thought this would be a nice beachy guest room, complete with floral mural. Spotted on the lovely Bliss.
