Happy Christmas and Merry 2010!! Thank you for following my little blog and for being such a warm and receptive community. We are in the Northern California for the week, back in Jan...till then all the best this holiday season. xoxo
I have a big crush on Auto, a design shop nestled in the meatpacking district, just opposite the newly refurbished High Line. It took all my will power to resist purchasing almost every item in sight.
Look at this charm necklace...
I fell in love with, Ronni Kappos, designs. She uses vintage glass beads in her stunning and fun necklaces, bracelets and earrings.
A good friend of mine is getting married in January, I suggested she check out some of the really pretty hair clips from Anthropologie, as there is a wealth of good looking feathers, rhinestones, and flowers for the hair. I think the ones below are so feminine, and can be worn for any festive occasion. Love. them. Happy Monday. xo
It is supposed to snow tomorrow in New York, so I decided to post a winter drink of the month. Check out this Roquefort & Pear egg nog. Tis the season & Happy Friday. More winter drinks here.
I am hoping to do almost all of my Christmas shopping via etsy, supporting local artists. So, I am just thrilled my dear friend Carol, has opened up a store on etsy called Instant Magic, where she will be selling her gorgeous polaroids!
I love visiting my twin sister Lisa in Berkeley, we are going there for Christmas this year and I can't wait. One of the many many things I love about visiting her are the stunning snowfalls in Tahoe, spending time with my brother in law and three nephews and morning buns at La Farine. I've searched far and wide in New York for a bakery that equals that of La Farine. I've found some close ones, including the wonderful Levain Bakery on 74th and Amsterdam, they have to die for chocolate brioches, and valerhona chocolate filled sour dough rolls, just delicious. But my much sought after 'La Farine tasting morning buns' elude me in this great city.
