A cool exhibit is on at the Tony Shafrazi Gallery, featuring the work of Dennis Hopper called Signs of the Times. Very cool. Yes, that's Warhol top left.
I'm half Filipino on my mother's side and I grew up with a Mum that can cook! Some of the dishes included Pancit, Lumpia (yum) & chicken adobe. More recently, I tasted the delicious Arroz Caldo, I couldn't believe my Mum was holding out on me all those years - as that soup is the bomb. I included a few links so you can try your hand at some of these tasty treats.
This story from the Times warms my heart. After 70 years of being apart - they marry. A gem of a quote from the story: “Rowland plans to live to be 100, so they have 16 passionate years ahead of them.” Happy Monday. xoxo
My wonderful sister, Lisa, asked me to post this image on Sugar Pie, as she is on the hunt for where to find these chairs? Anyone? Aren't they fabulous?
I was lucky enough to spend Monday at the Open and saw some great tennis. I am now trying to get tickets to tonight's matches; Oudin and Federer are both playing. Should be a great match. Photos from HERE
We recycle paper, plastic and bottles/cans but we are in dire need of some organization and let's face it, I like things to look nice too. I think these three bins are my answer.
Conor & I are talking a lot about a trip to Ireland in October, specifically County Clare. This image is so romantic and what I would like to think Ireland looks like. If anyone has any suggestions of good places to stay/see etc...please drop me a comment. Happy Thursday. xoxo
