Off the Wall
I love this story in the Times today about Gallerists selling art out of their homes. I also saw this concept on Design Sponge.
Supermarket Sarah (as her store is known) has a similar concept; she sells everything you see on her walls, whatever you fancy, it can be yours.

Pretty
A good friend of mine is getting married in January, I suggested she check out some of the really pretty hair clips from Anthropologie, as there is a wealth of good looking feathers, rhinestones, and flowers for the hair. I think the ones below are so feminine, and can be worn for any festive occasion. Love. them. Happy Monday. xo

Etsy gift guide Part 1
I am hoping to do almost all of my Christmas shopping via etsy, supporting local artists. So, I am just thrilled my dear friend Carol, has opened up a store on etsy called Instant Magic, where she will be selling her gorgeous polaroids!

I'm dreaming of a white christmas and morning buns from La Farine
I love visiting my twin sister Lisa in Berkeley, we are going there for Christmas this year and I can't wait. One of the many many things I love about visiting her are the stunning snowfalls in Tahoe, spending time with my brother in law and three nephews and morning buns at La Farine. I've searched far and wide in New York for a bakery that equals that of La Farine. I've found some close ones, including the wonderful Levain Bakery on 74th and Amsterdam, they have to die for chocolate brioches, and valerhona chocolate filled sour dough rolls, just delicious. But my much sought after 'La Farine tasting morning buns' elude me in this great city.

This cute bag looks like my recipe list (or part of the lengthy little list) today as we braved the famous Fairway Market, a mere 24 hours before Thanksgiving.

So, a very happy thanksgiving to all!

Garlands!
I've been seeing lots and lots of garlands on the blogosphere, these are especially pretty and a good price point. I would like to think I could make these but I know that may or may not happen. So in the case of the latter, I can order them here.
PS am thinking of using these in the nursery...more on that to come.
